The Client
Legion Run is an up to 5km team-oriented run with 20+ obstacles of mud, fire, ice and barbed wire, held in different countries around the globe. The events are the ultimate opportunity for the people to challenge their physical and mental limits, and share some epic moments with friends, co-workers or family. It is not a race and it is not a competition against others. Just pure wicked fun for grown-ups!
The Challenge
Legion Run has long decided to include Cyprus again in its worldwide calendar and certainly did not regret it, since after many entries, people has shown to have fun at all times. In fact, most participants did not hide their desire to run again, either in Cyprus or in another country. The Legion Run approached Consultics to produce Legion Run Cyprus 2018, a challenge that was accepted with pleasure by our company. Consultics was responsible for the whole organization of the event which was strictly based on a circle of key activities such as Research, Planning, Implementation and Control, in order to guarantee the maximum of success. Some of the most important operations that Consultics took control of, were the Sponsorship Recruitment, Media Promotion, Ticket Sales, Customer Service, etc.
The Concept
Legion Run Cyprus was successfully hosted in Palais Des Sports ‘Spyros Kyprianou’ in Limassol, on 14th April 2018. The event was sponsored by Cyprus Tourism Organization, K Cineplex, Cablenet, Geo. Pavlides Automotive, SKIP, Hell Energy Drink, Farmakas Waters, Pils Hellas, AXE, Russian Media Group, Ergodotisi.com, Ethic Sport. Media Sponsors of the event were Kiss FM, Active FM and Goal.com.cy. There were also some Food Vendors as the event, which were Pizza Hut and Fork Market Company. More than 1.500 people of all ages have tested their limits, strengths and team working. Marios Priamos, the Cypriot Survivor’s finalist who was the Brand Ambassador of the event, was in the field and ran all the way with participants. Except from the participants, many spectators have joined the event and enjoyed a great Saturday along with friends, great food and music.
The Outcome
Consultics team worked together based on creativity and professionalism, contributing to a successful event. Everyone has enjoyed the journey and the whole once-in-a-lifetime experience they had at Legion Run. The feedback we have received from the participants is 100% positive. Legion Run 2018 is considered to be the most successful Legion Run to date.
